Orlaith has worked in the planning and development industry for approximately 10 years since her graduation from Queens University Belfast with an MSc in Environmental Planning. Following university Orlaith worked as a development control officer with Louth County Council. Orlaith proceeded to work with ROI’s largest professional planning consultancy, garnering an in-depth working knowledge of the ROI planning system. She moved to Belfast in 2007 and took up the position of a senior planner with BDP working closely with both Helen Harrison and Andrew Heasley. Orlaith joined the JUNO Planning in 2012 and is a member of the Irish Planning Institute.

Areas of expertise include: planning in ROI (planning applications/ planning appeals/ preparation of local area plans); environmental assessments; planning feasibility studies; managing residential and mixed use planning applications; retail studies (retail impact assessments); renewable energy projects; managing multi-disciplinary teams; planning appeals.
