As sole planning consultants, JUNO prepared and submitted the outline planning application for the transformative Weavers Cross regeneration development in Belfast City Centre. This will connect people, place and opportunity, supporting both business and tourism and access to Belfast. Weavers Cross provides the opportunity to create a new destination in Belfast and enable the development of circa 120,000 sqm across 9 hectares/20 acres. Alongside the development of Grand Central Station Weavers Cross Regeneration will deliver some of the most important new public spaces within the city including the new Saltwater Square, along with the potential to create new homes, a mix of retail and Grade A office space and new public realm. This major regeneration project is to include a variety of significant mixed projects and public realm improvements in line with the Belfast 2035 ambition to attract 50,000 new jobs and £1bn investment to regeneration projects in the city.
