Proposal: Refurbishment and extension of existing school with new staff car park and dedicated school drop-off within the school, accessed from the Ballyrobert Road. The development will comprise the partial demolition of the existing school with the removal of 4 no. mobile classrooms. The extension will be single storey and include 4 no. new classrooms, a new multi-purpose Hall, upgraded heating systems and all ancillary development. Provision for photovoltaic panels (PV panels) on the school roof.

·       Public Consultation Event Location: Corr’s Corner Hotel (315 Ballyclare Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 4TQ)

·        Date: Thursday 2^nd July 2026, open event from 3pm – 6:30pm

This event will give members of the public the opportunity to find out more about the proposal and provide feedback to the project design team.

The pre-application consultation period will begin on Thursday 2nd July 2026 and end on Friday 31st July 2026. Members of the public must provide their feedback before Friday 31st July.
